World History II is a course that focuses on developing students' understanding of world history from The Fall of Rome to World War I. Major topics of study are the Middle Ages, Feudal Japan, The Renaissance, The French Revolution and The Russian Revolution. Our focus is on studying significant events, individuals and ideas that have helped shape the Ancient and Modern world. Over the course of the year, students will investigate topics of personal interest and create written and visual projects to present to the rest of the class. The goal is to build students’ knowledge of history while improving their research, writing and presentation skills.
