Science

Science at Warriner Middle School is a hands on course. In this face to face class, students learn by reading, writing and doing. Students work in groups as well as independently to get information through teacher notes and reading as well as a variety of lab activities and projects. The scientific method is utilized in lab, where students make and explore their hypotheses. This is a 3 year curriculum that covers a variety of topics within the areas of life science, physical science and earth science. Specific topics covered in the last three years include human body systems, astronomy, electricity, geologic time, chemistry, cell biology and the physics.
